"Being a transsexual is an extremely difficult thing to deal with. The admission of being TS (transsexual) to yourself and to others is traumatic. The expectation of ridicule or being physically abused is a very real issue for those of us who are transsexual. For myself, I have “hidden” my true self for over forty years from everyone who has ever had contact with me. Kimball Sargent has been a guide, advocate, coach and teacher to help me on this gender journey which has been the only way to find peace in my life. She has helped me to see the dignity of the woman that has been locked within me for years due to fear. It has not been an easy journey thus far, but it has been a blessing to have a person such as Kimball to assist me in staying the course. She has also helped me to remain focused on my faith in God when I had been shunned by some people of my previous faith community. Like a bud of a flower that has no concept of what it can be till it opens, Kimball has given me glimpses of the possibilities for me as I open myself to my true self."
